MeetNow is our own app
Who Pays Dinner is published by the team that makes MeetNow, a free app for meeting people in person. On MeetNow, a host posts a plan at a public place, says who pays (host pays, split, pay your own or free) and picks who joins. MeetNow is launching in Malta first and is not yet available in the App Store or Google Play.
Because MeetNow is our own product, we have an interest in it. That is why we tell you:
- Articles may mention MeetNow where it is genuinely relevant, and most end with a clearly marked box about it.
- We never present MeetNow as an independent recommendation or claim features it does not have. MeetNow does not handle payments: the host simply states who pays.
- Our answers work without MeetNow: the etiquette applies however you plan your outing.
Paid placements and affiliate links
Who Pays Dinner does not accept paid placements. If we ever publish sponsored content or use affiliate links, they will be clearly labelled where they appear.
